Susan Tom has spent three decades creating a family founded on the idea that, given the proper support and encouragement, every child can fulfill their potential. In addition to birthing two boys of her own, Susan has adopted eleven children, the youngest of which are currently in elementary school, and the oldest of which are currently attending college.

Her eleven adopted special needs children are an inspiration to everyone who comes into contact with them, and their story can be seen in the new documentary MY FLESH AND BLOOD, released in theaters Thanksgiving 2003, and on HBO in Spring 2004. The film has brought much attention to the issues of adoption, special needs children, and education in America. This website was created in response to the overwhelming number of people who have expressed interest in becoming involved in the Tom children's future.
